DAVID GROHL’S EPIC 3-DAY DRUMMING MARATHON SHATTERS WORLD RECORD, RAISES $1 MILLION FOR MUSIC EDUCATION PROGRAMS WORLDWIDE
In an electrifying display of rock ‘n’ roll endurance, Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl has taken the music world by storm, breaking the Guinness World Record for the longest drumming marathon by a single artist.
Grohl, 54, pounded away at his drum kit for an astonishing 72 hours, 5 minutes, and 42 seconds, playing an estimated 100,000 beats and entertaining a live audience of thousands.
The event, held at Los Angeles’ iconic Greek Theatre, featured special guest appearances by Taylor Hawkins’ son, Oliver Hawkins, and other music legends, including Questlove and Chad Smith.
