Real Madrid & Atletico Madrid make offers to sign Manchester United Youngstar

Manchester United star Alejandro Garnacho has offers on the table from Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid, according to reports in Spain.

The 18-year-old has enjoyed a breakthrough season at Old Trafford this term, scoring three times and providing five assists in 16 appearances under Erik ten Hag.

The teenage wonderkid joined United from Atletico in 2020 and he made his first-team debut just 18 months later.

Garnacho was born in Madrid but he’s represented Argentina’s U20s on five occasions and is expected to declare for the World Cup winners.

United are understandably delighted with Garnacho’s impact this term and they’re keen to reward him with a new deal.

Garnacho currently earns around £5,000-a-week but his contract expires in 18 months’ time and he’ll be free to sign a pre-contract agreement with foreign clubs from January 1st 2024.

Though that’s still some time off, the posturing for a player of Garnacho’s capability begins early and fichajes say he has offers from Real and Atletico to return to Spain.

United are willing to hand Garnacho a new deal worth around £50,000-a-week and he is believed to be keen to stay at Old Trafford.

Should Garnacho make a surprise exit, Real are said to be the frontrunners ahead of his former side Atletico.
