Midfielder makes transfer decision ahead of potential summer move

A report from the Spanish outlet SPORT earlier this month claimed that the Premier League trio of Arsenal, Manchester United and Liverpool were keen on signing him.

Neves himself, though, was said to be keen on a move to Barcelona this summer.

And as he enters the final year of his contract, clubs are looking at the possibility of snapping Neves up when the Premier League season ends in a cut-price deal.

Now, as per SPORT via football.london, Ruben Neves is set to join La Liga side Barcelona during the summer transfer window, with it added that Neves has agreed a four-year contract with the Blaugrana, rejecting the likes of Arsenal in the process.

Barcelona are expected to offer up players rather than cash in exchange for Neves, with Anus Fati the main player being touted to make the switch to Wolves for Neves.

Whilst this is a blow to Arsenal, they are still interested in the likes of Declan Rice and Moises Caicedo.
