Chelsea are desperate to sign €30m-rated Belgian attacker following World Cup Exit

Leandro Trossard has been on Chelsea’s radar for a while. And Belgium international’s recent displays could prompt the London giants to make a move soon. Trossard will be out of contract in the summer, and Brighton could thus look to sell him for a nominal price during the winter transfer window.

The Blues could certainly use someone like Leandro. And it stays to be seen whether Graham Potter comes forward with a concrete bid for the 27-year-old winger after setting sights on him. The Belgian can operate as a playmaker and a wide forward. The Belgian winger’s versatility and quality can add a new dimension to the Blues front-line.

With the likes of Pulisic and Ziyech faltering this campaign, the former Genk player would be a much-needed signing to the Blues squad. Trossard will add creativity and goals in the final third. Furthermore, Leandro knows Graham Potter’s system as well.

It is fair to assume that he could settle in quickly and make an immediate impact at the London club. Trossard has scored seven goals in 12 PL games so far this campaign, including important strikes against Chelsea and Liverpool. Leandro helped Brighton beat Chelsea and clinch a draw with Liverpool earlier this campaign.

And Leandro has shown that he is capable of playing for a top club. A move to Chelsea would allow Trossard to play in the Champions League and that could be a tempting proposition for the footballer.
